This 30" female 2022 CHERRY Amel represents the newest Red-modifying gene mutation in cornsnakes, CHERRY. Cherry, and like all red-modifying mutations in corns, the saturation of red deepens throughout maturity. This one appears to have only one of the paired Cherry gene copies, rendering her adult coloration half as red as her homozygote counterparts.
